Welcome to Your Personal Meditation Time
This is a 30-minute session lovingly dedicated to your unique meditation journey. In this Zoom space, we'll explore your practice together—wherever you are right now, whatever you're carrying, however you're feeling.
I'm here to meet you exactly as you are. Maybe you're just beginning to explore meditation and feeling uncertain about where to start. Perhaps you've been practicing for years and are encountering new questions or challenges. Or maybe you're somewhere in between, seeking gentle guidance or simply a compassionate presence to sit alongside you. All of it is welcome here.
During our time together, I can offer guided meditation if that feels supportive, or I can simply hold space and listen deeply to what's alive in your practice. I'm here to encourage you, support you with warmth and without judgment, and explore together whatever questions arise about meditation, dharma teachings, or the beautiful complications of bringing practice into our daily lives.
About Coral
I'm Coral Short (they/them), a non-binary community dharma leader in the Insight tradition with nearly two decades of practice. Born in 1973 on Lkwungen land (Victoria, BC), I bring a perspective to dharma teaching that's deeply informed by my sober punk anarchist roots and my commitment to addressing systemic oppression through compassionate awareness.
My teaching weaves together Buddhist wisdom with somatic practices, drawing on training in Generative Somatics and Somatic Experiencing. For nearly a decade, I've been building inclusive spiritual communities as co-founder of Queer Sanghas in Montréal and Berlin—creating warm, welcoming spaces where 2SLGBTQ+ practitioners can find genuine refuge and belonging.
I believe meditation practice is for everyone, and I'm committed to making dharma accessible, relevant, and rooted in the real, messy, beautiful complexity of our lives.
Dana (Generosity)
This session is offered on a donation (dana) basis, honoring the traditional Buddhist practice of generosity. Your contribution—whatever feels right for you, large or small—is deeply appreciated and helps support the continuation of these teachings. The dharma itself is considered priceless, and dana allows us to participate in an ancient cycle of giving and receiving.
Come as you are, right now. You belong.
