As celebratory, reflective closure, this final month’s session will focus on the somatics of joy: where and how we access it within, and beyond, our bodies.

March : Joy

We did it! We are on our last session which will be joy as a form of resistance, offering a felt, embodied counterpoint to the systems that keep us disconnected from our bodies and from each other. Through centering, writing, and somatic practice, participants build capacity for micro-dosing joy, learning to notice it, stay with it, and actively receive it rather than wait for it to arrive. The session moves from individual reflection into group practice and small-group sharing, closing with space to notice what has shifted. Rooted in queer and trans somatic work, this gathering shows us that joy not as a fixed destination, but as something we can grow our capacity for, moment by moment, together. Let’s get curious about enjoying some glimmers of joy together!
